Black lightfast ink drawn on paper of a meshes consisting of knots and lines, all appear different and irregular. The image covers the paper and appears to be a net structure, with no edges or boundaries full of possibilities for exploration and experimentation in the vast, expansive universe. A reticular formations found on naturally occurring beings and structures. Like a spiders web, like the structure of many insect and dragonfly wings, a giraffe's markings. Influenced by artist Yayoi Kusama (infinity nets and dots), Cornelia Parker's linear and grid works. Concepts of the MESH in books by Tim Ingold, and Timothy Morton and scientific diagrams about universal structure. Where ALL people, beings and things exist have/do/will exist in interdependently. The MESH is the structure consisting of connections the energy/light/forces/gravity acting in fields and waves, and the knots represent ALL beings/things that constantly interact. Whilst imagining the MESH we can be in a position to critique humanly made structures, systems, networks and overwhelming ways we communicate, that affect our everyday lives.
